Monday, August 1st, 2011: T.J. Bohn really sizzled at the plate today. In a game played at Stade de Renardeaus, the Ottawa left fielder blistered the Montreal Renardeaus for 5 hits in 5 at-bats to pace his club to a 8-3 victory.
"Bohn was too tough to get out today," the Renardeaus skipper said in his postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
T.J. Bohn singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
So far on the season Bohn is hitting .328 with 11 home runs, 56 RBIs and 50 runs scored. He has 131 hits and played in 102 games. |

Monday, August 1st, 2011: The top-rated Canadian League rookie in July was Toronto's first baseman Jesus Guzman.
Last month he played in 27 games and hit .353 with 8 doubles, 1 triple, and 4 home runs. Guzman also scored 12 times and drove in 16 runs.
